Terms of Service
Last updated: October 2026
These terms govern your use of scrutinn.com and any product or service we launch under the Scrutin name (together, the "Service"), operated by Scrutin, a company based in Singapore. By using the Service, you agree to these terms.
1. Who can use the Service
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. You're responsible for making sure that using the Service, and trading digital assets, is lawful where you live.
2. Accounts and plans
You need an account to scan wallets. Keep your login to yourself; you're responsible for activity under it. Each plan sets limits on scans, history depth and features, as described on the pricing page. Paid plans are subscriptions, billed in advance each month or year through our payment processor, Stripe, and renew until you cancel. A paid plan can also come from an access code, which is never charged.
3. Description of the Service
Scrutin reads the public on-chain transaction history of a Solana wallet address you submit and produces an analysis of the trading patterns in that history. The Service is read-only: it never requests private keys or seed phrases, cannot sign transactions, and cannot move funds. It surfaces information about past trades; every trading decision remains yours to make.
The Service also includes tools built on that analysis: a discipline score, a rules simulator, a Monte Carlo outlook, a pre-trade tilt check, habit challenges, a trade journal, an AI consultant and short lessons. They are about your own behaviour and process. They don't tell you what to buy, sell or hold, aren't predictions, and simulated, modelled or projected figures (for example, what a rule "would have saved", or the outlook's runs of future days) are hypothetical estimates built from your past trades. They assume the future resembles your past, which it may not, and are not promises of future results. A tilt check reading of "clear to trade" is not a recommendation to trade.
The quant lab applies standard quantitative-finance models (among them risk ratios, value at risk, significance tests, Kelly sizing, Monte Carlo simulation, and the Heston, Black-Scholes and Dupire models of prices and volatility) to your trading history. These models were developed for markets that behave differently from memecoins: they assume, for example, that prices move continuously and that the future resembles the past, while memecoins can gap, lose liquidity, be abandoned by their creators or go to zero. No memecoin has a listed options market, so any volatility surface shown is a model, not a market price. Simulated and hypothetical results have inherent limitations: they are prepared with the benefit of hindsight, do not reflect actual trading, fills, fees or liquidity, and no representation is made that any account will or is likely to achieve results similar to those shown. Figures depend on public on-chain data and third-party price data, which may be delayed, incomplete or inaccurate.
4. Your account and data
You're responsible for keeping your own account credentials secure. Scrutin will never ask for your private keys or seed phrase — anyone who does, claiming to be us, is not us. Submitting a wallet address gives us only the license needed to process its public history and generate your report, as described in our Privacy Policy.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these terms.
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the Service's normal operation.
- Misrepresent your identity.
- Introduce malware, or attempt to probe, penetrate, or overload our systems.
6. Intellectual property
The Service, including its design, text, graphics, and underlying software, is owned by Scrutin or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property law. These terms don't grant you any rights to our trademarks, branding, or code beyond what's needed to use the Service as intended.
7. Not financial advice; no guarantees
Scrutin provides informational analysis of past trades. It is not financial, investment, tax, or legal advice, and nothing it produces is a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any asset. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We don't guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, that its analysis is accurate or complete, or that acting on it will improve your trading results.
8. Trading risk and your decisions
Trading digital assets, and memecoins in particular, is highly speculative. Prices can move sharply in minutes, liquidity can disappear, and you can lose everything you put in. Past trading patterns don't predict future results. You alone decide whether and how to trade, and you're responsible for:
- every trade you make and its outcome;
- complying with the laws and regulations that apply to you; and
- any taxes owed on your trading activity.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Scrutin won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, business opportunity, or data, arising from your use of — or inability to use — the Service, even if we've been advised of the possibility of such damages. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you've paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) SGD 100. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Singapore law, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Scrutin, its officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any right of a third party.
11. Termination
You may stop using the Service, or delete your account from Settings, at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to the Service, at our discretion and without liability to you, for anyone who violates these terms or whose use poses a risk to us or other users. Sections of these terms that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification — will survive.
12. Changes to the Service or these terms
We're actively building Scrutin, so the Service and these terms may change as it evolves. We'll update the date at the top of this page when we make material changes; continuing to use the Service afterward means you accept the updated terms.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. You agree that the courts of Singapore have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms or the Service.
14. Time limit on claims
To the extent permitted by law, any claim arising out of or relating to these terms or the Service must be brought within one (1) year after the claim arose, or it's permanently barred.
15. Force majeure
We won't be liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including acts of God, natural disaster, war, terrorism, riot, labor dispute, internet or utility failure, or government action.
16. General terms
- Entire agreement. These terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, are the entire agreement between you and Scrutin regarding the Service, and supersede any prior agreements on the same subject.
- Severability. If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remain in full effect, and the unenforceable provision will be limited to the minimum extent necessary.
- No waiver. Our failure to enforce any part of these terms isn't a waiver of our right to do so later.
- Assignment. You may not assign these terms without our consent. We may assign these terms freely, including in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
